The lecture was accessible to local secondary school teachers, with the aim of equipping them to introduce bioinformatics in classrooms and encourage their students to consider bioinformatics as a viable option for their tertiary education, serving as a significant outreach initiative for our recently launched BSc (Bioinformatics) programme.
